A New Year!

Sorry, it's been a while. I wanted to update it back in December after the donation to the NICU, but winter came with all the snow and indoor play and shorter naps! Yuck!

It hasn't been all that bad.

Heath had a nice break and we were able to spend a lot of time with him before his internship started.

We went on actual dates!

And we got to play with the kids in the snow

Bret always comes up with ways to keep me on my toes,

The time he pulled the Christmas tree down and unraveled the lights
while I was changing his sister. Right before we had to go to a wedding.

The time he went on strike during nap time
and took out his sister's catheters AND opened them.
I considered selling him on Etsy at this point,
but then I realized how smart he was for actually being able to open these.
We had to throw all these catheters away.

But more often than not, he is reminds me how sweet he is. (More on that on his birthday post)

So, we've gone exploring:

With Grandpa around the block in a sled

At the park with our friends and painting indoors

City Creek and Temple Square

We've had time to be silly together

And help each other along

So I guess, all in all, it's been a pretty good winter so far.
