About Us

The Oakland Temple

My husband and I both served our LDS missions in the Bay Area in California. We met at our mission reunion in Utah when I had been back for only 4 months and he had been back for almost 2 years! 

We got married in the Salt Lake City temple in 2014. Almost a year later, we had our baby boy aaaaand a year and two days after that we had our baby girl! My baby girl has Spina Bifida, which led me to start this blog. I want to write about our journey with Spina Bifida and what life is like having two kids so close together! 


My husband is starting his own business, going to school, and being an amazing husband/father...need I say more?! Amongst all the craziness in our household, there is an over abundance of love which keeps us going!
